An Office of Her Own

I've been thinking about how I need to create an organized office space for me...but just being organized and isn't enough. I want my office area to be feminine and cozy too.

So off I went to look for inspiring and pretty items for the office. Here are a few of my finds..

First, from www.seejanework.com is an enamel mail holder (and note the file folders shown are available on this site too) and a pretty wire basket for holding folders. Anna Griffin makes pretty file folders, these ones shown here were found at www.rsvp-gifts-stationery.com.

And last, a book recommended by Amy
Powers of the Inspire Company.
I haven't read this yet, but it's on my wish list.

Sweet Scentsations!

Crabapple Hill Studio makes embroidery kits such as this adorable Sweetheart Sachet. "Hope, Dream, Love and Peace" are among the words that you can embroider onto these charming sachets.

Also available are these kits for making Fleur Monogram Sachets.

Filled with lavender, rose petals or other potpourri these sachets would make a delightful addition to any cottage chic bedroom.

Decor Ideas in Bloom

If you are looking to create a romantic, cottage style home then receiving inspiration by thumbing through magazines such as Romantic Homes may just be what you need. A peek inside this magazine will reveal home decor that I'd describe as romantic country with casual elegance.

Another romantic magazine is Southern Lady which although I've only looked at a couple issues seems to be a good one for romantic living Southern style. And though it isn't always quite as romantic as the other two another favorite of mine is Country Living.

Make yourself cozy in your chair as you sit before your computer, perhaps have a cup of scented tea (but be careful not to spill it), maybe put on some romantic music, and do whatever else you please to put you in the mood to peruse our finds of sweet, romantic, cottage living inspired home decor and accessories, books and magazines, and of course items for pampering and nurturing you such as bath and body products.

I've searched the internet for delightful treasures for your home (or at least to daydream having in your home), to give as gifts, etc. that fills you with bliss, cozy warmth, and more. I'll be posting (on a somewhat irregular basis probably) what I've found from my adventures surfing the 'net what I hope you will find charming, enjoyable, and useful.
